    Very lovely hotel in the center of Bolzano. Lots of lovely and affordable restaurants to eat on the square. Parking was easy with in & out for 22 euro and an entrance directly to the elevator within the parking garage. Only con for us was the a/c minisplit was not working well in our room and we had to sleep without sheets. Breakfast was served 7:00 – 10:30 downstairs. Loved how they made fresh coffee for us, but breakfast was fairly standard, nothing special. Minibar & spa is included if you book directly which we did. Two waters, beers, and a peach juice and & bag of chips were in the minibar restocked daily. We made spritz in the room and they were kinda to provide us a bucket of ice and glasses. We were glad to stay in Bolzano for a little urban life compared to the mountain towns. We drove up to Seceda & Alpe di Siusi from here and the drive was scenic and fun. Parking can be a challenge, but we just prefered to not take the crowded buses. USB-A ports in the room along with basic television (no smart functions).

    I initially booked two nights but ended up extending my stay. The hotel let me keep the same room, which made everything very convenient.

    I really enjoyed staying here. The staff are genuinely warm and friendly, and there’s fresh lemon water available at reception. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the train station and is located right on the main square, making it an excellent base for exploring the city.

    One important tip: book directly through the hotel’s website. If you book through third-party websites like Booking.com, the spa is not included and costs extra. When booking directly, spa access is included free of charge.

    The spa was one of my favorite parts of the hotel. It has an 80°C sauna, a heated relaxation pool, complimentary tea, and a peaceful atmosphere. I also liked the gym. It’s small, but surprisingly well-equipped, especially with the cable machine and the variety of attachments. There were even fresh apples available, and both times I visited I had the gym entirely to myself.

    Breakfast offers an extensive buffet with plenty of choice. You’re welcomed by a barista who prepares your coffee, which adds a nice personal touch. There’s also a lovely outdoor terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast.

    One evening we ordered takeaway, and the staff kindly brought cutlery to our room. Another great perk is the complimentary minibar, which is restocked daily with water, beer, and chips. The TV also includes Netflix.

    My only criticism concerns the bathroom light. During the night it switched on automatically and I couldn’t turn it off, making it difficult to sleep. I informed reception, and they said they would investigate after I checked out. I would have appreciated it if someone had come to the room to fix the issue while I was still staying there.

    To end on a positive note, after checking out I ran into the barista again, and she kindly gave me a souvenir magnet as a gift. She was incredibly thoughtful and friendly, and it was a lovely way to end an already wonderful stay. I would happily stay here again.

    Stayed here for a couple of nights and came away very impressed. I would absolutely stay here again.

    The rooms are modern, spotless, and surprisingly spacious. We had plenty of room for our luggage and never felt cramped. Everything we needed was there, and the hotel felt fresh and well maintained.

    The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out, which made for a great experience.

    Breakfast was excellent. It was served in a beautiful restaurant, and it was honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in Italy. Everything was fresh, there was a great selection, and it was a fantastic way to start the day.

    Parking deserves a special mention because it couldn’t have been easier. There’s a brand-new underground garage beneath the hotel and the piazza with plenty of parking spaces, and it provides direct access to the hotel. If you’re driving, it’s incredibly convenient.

    The location is hard to beat. The hotel is right on Piazza Walther, so you’re just steps away from restaurants, cafés, shops, and everything else in the heart of Bolzano. We hardly needed the car once we arrived.

    The only negative was the pillows. They were probably the worst I’ve ever slept on—very flat and lumpy. It’s a small thing in the grand scheme of an otherwise outstanding stay, but upgrading the pillows would make a huge difference.

    Other than that one minor issue, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Clean, modern, comfortable, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, easy parking, and an unbeatable location. I would happily recommend Stadt Hotel Città to anyone visiting Bolzano.

    We loved our stay in this hotel and could not recommend it enough. Shaby our hotel manager and all his staff were so friendly and helpful to us. The bedrooms are really comfortable and the showers amazing. We loved our breakfast every morning and the lovely welcome we got every time we entered reception from Shaby and his team. We also had nice drinks in the cafe overlooking the central part of Bolzano. We will definitely be coming back and were also delighted with our guest cards which allowed us free access to local cable cars for our daily walks. The hotel is also so central to everything in Bolzano. We are really glad we stayed here and the free strudel at reception is worth trying out. Don’t hesitate for one second, just book it. Thank you Shaby and your team for our lovely stay.

    Superbe location, amazing rooms (big & clean) with great and complete breakfast. Lovely & accommodating staff (kept my luggages the last day after check out and allowed me to update my booking when my date changes very swiftly).

    Perfect stay in Bolzano, will be back!
