We stayed at the Best Western Park Hotel in Piacenza two times on our recent bicycle trip along the Po River. The hotel is welcoming to cyclists. The hotel staff were warm and professional. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Hotel very far from Piacenza. Rooms are okay, a bit outdated but fine, breakfast is good. Very unhelpful staff at the desk. I asked if I could take a bus to the station on a Sunday morning and was told no, that it was impossible. Lies. I took the bus that departs from directly in front of the hotel every Sunday at 8:36 and goes directly to the station. I think the people should want to help and know such things such as the bus schedules in front of the hotel.

While having dinner near Villa Dom, we decided to book a different hotel due to how isolated and unsafe the location felt. We found another hotel and headed there right after dinner and it turned out to be a great decision.
The ambience was excellent, the rooms were clean, and there were great extras like free car parking and a gym. The breakfast was decent, offering a good variety to start the day. The location was perfect, much more central and convenient than Villa Dom.
Though the price was a bit higher than Villa Dom, it was absolutely worth it for the comfort, convenience, and peace of mind. Overall, a really good and satisfying stay.

Large room, super clean, large bed very comfortable. Has a fridge and safe and lots of room to unload your luggage. Wish I had a bigger bathroom but still very nice. Very warm and helpful welcome at the reception. Pet friendly although they charge you 10 bucks for the night. Free parking. Very convenient when you’re traveling and you want to avoid the city center ZTL. The hotel is very close to the highway and supermarkets.

We stayed in two adjusting rooms combined into a family room. The rooms were clean and neat. But not everything functioned perfectly (water was jumping from hot to cold, toilet water kept running after flushing) .
But further it was a pleasant stay.
The beds were very comfortable. The personnel was friendly and helpful.
The dinner in hotel restaurant was okay, not special, but just good enough for the evening after a long travel.
All together – this was a good stay.
